Hi.  My name is John W. Menn.  I have been a bankruptcy attorney with the firm Steinhilber Swanson LLP since 2009, helping individuals and businesses here in Wisconsin resolve their debt issues and reorganize their finances.

 

In my meetings with hundreds of clients over the years, it is clear that for many people, personal financial education is pretty limited, and I see lenders take advantage of that quite often.

 

I created this website and blog to help people transform their finances and go from Bankrupt to Financially Independent.  The website is a growing work in progress and is intended to be a centralized location for information and resources to help my clients and anyone else wanting to boost their financial education and get on top of their finances to plan for a better future.

 

A little financial knowledge can go a long way, and becoming familiar with the basics and having good resources to refer to can be a huge help, particularly for people who never learned these things in school, don’t know where to start, and don’t even know what they don’t know.
